Crynodeb
A Therapeutic Lead is required for a warm and welcoming SEMH school in Sunderland area. This is a full time role that requires an HLTA qualification or above as you will be leading interventions and ideally you have CBT or Counselling experience. This role starts asap and is long term. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers. In addition, ideally you will be interested in Outdoor learning as each Friday, the school takes children out on Outdoor pursuits.
The ideal candidate would:
- Have good classroom management skills
- Have a passion for working as a and SEMH HLTA
- Be able to organise themselves
- Be able to lead effectively as an HLTA
Although a specific HLTA qualification is not essential, it is desirable and we can signpost you to training providers to enhance your skills and to provide you with this training. Posts vary from short term to long term, however we require staff that are flexible and willing to learn from experienced staff at the school.
In addition, you must:
• Provide two referees we can contact
• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
Please note that the rate of pay will be dependent on the level of qualification you have achieved and the amount of experience you have to date.
