Duties will include preparation of food and beverages and organisation of the service of food, baking cooking serving meals loading hot trollies and delivering them to and from the unit’s general kitchen and dining room duties such as, washing up, clearing away equipment. Completion of daybook record. Stock taking Saffron.
Essential Skills:
City and Guilds 706 1 or 2 or equivalent. Understanding dietary and nutritional needs, cooking experience in a relevant environment commercial kitchen. Elementary food hygiene certificate.IT and literacy skills, organisational skills taking being able to work on your own or as part of a team, be able to use your own initiative.
Based at: Ostlers care home 9 Wellinton Cres KY26GH
Work pattern: Rota 5 over 7
Hours per week: 30 hours + weekend enhancements
Pay: £13.18 an hour
