What skills and experience we're looking for
Tatworth Primary School are looking to appoint a part-time or full-time, dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to teach in Key Stage 1 or Key stage 2.
Tatworth is a village school is within a rural community, on the outskirts of Chard, surrounded by beautiful countryside.
In addition to carrying out the professional duties laid down in the school Teacher’s Pay and Conditions Document, the successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated, outstanding teacher, and have the ability to teach subjects across the primary curriculum.

We take an active role in our local safeguarding network in line with the contextual safeguarding recommendations of Keeping Children Safe in Education 2022. We maintain a vigilant culture to build up a broad picture as possible of factors affecting our children both in and outside of school. We work closely with other professionals either directly, or signpost support, so that we can meet the needs of our children and their family (if necessary). Our vigilant approach, together with working with other professionals, enables us to target support through identification of any local social conditions that may affect children’s welfare.
