Your new role
As Business Pricing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping pricing strategies and models across a diverse portfolio of products and services. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you'll also collaborate closely with the Commercial Product Team, Sales, Operations, and Technical departments to ensure competitive pricing, assess market opportunities, and support revenue growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Create and maintain pricing strategies and models.
- Use commercial modelling to support bid/tender pricing initiatives and submissions.
- Providing actionable insights through data analysis and KPIs.
- Benchmarking against competitors and identifying market trends.
- Assessing cost performance and evolving pricing methodologies.
- Provide an initial flash Go / No-go assessment based on deliverables and price.
- Building trusted relationships across the business and contributing to strategic planning.
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.
What you'll need to succeed
- A professional qualification is essential; CIMA, ACCA, CFA, or CPP.
- A degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or marketing (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in developing pricing strategies and price modelling from scratch.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into commercial insights.
- Commercial awareness of the deep tech / technology innovation landscape.
- Experience in consultancy or project-based environments is strongly desirable.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to build trusted relationships.
- Adaptability, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
