Your Role
The Night Manager is the Manager on Duty and responsible for all hotel operations during overnight shift hours, focusing on front office operations, night audit and hotel safety/security.
To have a full understanding of all systems and programs
Oversee the nightly operations and assignments of the hotel night staff
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management
Ensure that the team are developed to provide a hospitable service in line with the operating standards
To develop the team to anticipate guest needs, act upon and follow up guest requests and deliver a level of service and responsiveness that generates compliments
To actively support other departments and act when assistance is needed
Guest Experience
Establish and implement appropriate service recovery guidelines to ensure complete guest satisfaction. Respond to guest’s complaints or concerns in a prompt and professional manner
Communicate to appropriate departments all pertinent information requirements and special needs for arriving VIP’s, large groups, and other key guests
To ensure that the operation runs smoothly from the guest perspective.
About you
Minimum 1-2 year’s previous experience of a supervisory role within the London market
Candidates with a strong Front office background are preferred
A good working knowledge of Opera PMS is desired
Previous work experience in a Boutique Style hotel is desired
