School Support Officer (Reprographics & Uniform) required as soon as possible
Grade 3
(£25,563-£25,989) pro rata
Thursday-Friday
13hrs per week/39 weeks year (8.30am-3.30pm)
The opportunity has arisen to join this highly-successful, thriving and dynamic administration team. The successful candidate will become an integral part of a highly experienced team.
Our school is set in the heart of the beautiful village of Caerleon which is steeped in Roman history and Arthurian legend. Caerleon attracts visitors from all over the world who come and see some of the finest Roman remains in the UK.
Just a short drive from the M4 and the city of Newport, the school enjoys easy accessibility.
The school is popular, highly regarded and has a thriving Sixth Form of 250 pupils. Our catchment area draws pupils in from a wide geographical area.
Results at Key Stage 4 are consistently one of the highest in the region and rank amongst the strongest in Wales.

We are looking for a candidate with a ‘can do’ attitude, flexible approach to working and to be able to work on their own initiative. You will be committed to improving the educational outcomes of our pupils and will undertake duties as required to support this aim. You will be able to work calmly under pressure and be an effective team player. Confidentiality is essential due to the nature of duties undertaken.
The main duties of this post are:
• To manage the school reprographics room including all photocopying, printing and laminating and stock control.
• To operate the school uniform swop shop
• Other general administrative duties commensurate with the grade.
The vacancy is for 2 days a week (Thursday/Friday) 13hours, on a term time only basis, working 39 weeks of the year.
