The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting and maintaining public access across the local rights of way network. They will be responsible for inspecting paths, resolving access issues, liaising with landowners and stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation including the Highways Act 1980. The role involves updating the Definitive Map, managing improvement projects, and promoting safe, inclusive countryside access for all users.
