Education and Training To participate in the delivery of Basic Life Support, Immediate Life Support and Paediatric Immediate Life Support and assist in the delivery of Advanced Life Support training courses To ensure maintenance of accurate training records. Clinical To provide specialist advice and teaching on the assessment and management of the acutely ill patient in clinical situations To attend where possible cardiac arrests within the hospital and act as an active member of the cardiac arrest team whilst operating within own scope of practice, swiftly assessing, and interpreting the needs of the patient in order to provide high-quality emergency interventions. Research, Audit and Development To assist with data collection of the National Cardiac Arrest Audit To assist with internal audits on cardiac arrest activity Personal and Professional Development To take responsibility of own professional development, ensuring that you develop within the role To ensure that they are up to date with any new developments, recommendations or guidelines and are competent in the skills that they are expected to provide Please refer to the Job Description for further details
