Crynodeb
To provide specialist highly complex psychological assessments of clients based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex psychological data from a variety of sources including psychological and neuropsychological tests which require complex manipulation and timing skills, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the client's care. To develop highly complex formulations and implement plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of a clients highly complex psychological problems, including family breakdown, serious mental illness, vulnerable adults and aggressive and violent behaviour, based upon an appropriate conceptual framework of the client's problems, using advanced and practical knowledge of a range of work procedures and practices across the full range of care settings, where frequent and intense concentration is required.
