We currently have a vacancy for a Band 6 Paediatric Research Nurse to join our team to work on our allergy studies. The post will suit an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual to join us on the Children's Clinical Research Facility (CCRF) at St Mary’s Hospital. Hours will be full time (37.3hrs) but condensed into a 4-day week.

The successful applicant will join a first class team delivering ongoing, ground-breaking, paediatric research studies, particularly in the field of children's allergy.

This role involves working closely with medical and nursing staff along with research participants and their families. Central to the role is the recruitment, education and monitoring of patients participating in our allergy clinical research studies. The post holder will be involved in ensuring that any research undertaken within the department safeguards the well-being of the patients, and is conducted within ICH Good Clinical Practice Guidelines for Research.

This position provides the post-holder with the opportunity to work with a very supportive and welcoming team and to further develop your existing knowledge and skills. Prior experience of working in allergy is essential for this role and experience of research within an NHS setting is highly desirable.
