Hours: Full-time, 39.5 hours per week

Brook Street is proud to be working in partnership with a leading boiler manufacturer based in Belper, currently seeking a Capacity Planning Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to make a tangible impact within a well-established and forward-thinking company.

About the Role

As the Capacity Planning Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that operational capacity aligns with both short-term demand and long-term business strategy. You will use your analytical expertise to forecast resource needs, optimise performance, and lead your team to deliver best-in-class planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse business forecasts and operational trends to assess current and future capacity requirements

  • Develop and refine planning models to maximise resource utilisation and operational efficiency

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align capacity strategies with business goals

  • Lead regular capacity planning meetings and present performance KPIs to senior stakeholders

  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to reduce costs and boost productivity

  • Guide and develop the capacity planning team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration

What We're Looking For
  • A degree (or equivalent qualification) in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or a related field

  • Significant experience in capacity planning, ideally with leadership responsibilities

  • Proficient in planning tools such as SAP or Oracle and advanced Excel skills

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities

  • Experience with or willingness to learn Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies

  • Confident in applying forecasting methods and delivering clear reports to senior management

  • Awareness of relevant regulations and compliance standards in planning and operations
