KPI are delighted to be recruiting for a Class 1 Driver in Leicestershire LE4 area, if you want to work for a National contract and one of the biggest waste companies in the UK then this job maybe just for you.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established team and gain long-term, ongoing work. Permanent positions may become available after a qualifying period
HGV Class 1 Driver- Responsibilities
• Collect waste from various customer sites in London and transport it back to base.
• Operate vehicles with walking floors.
• Ensure vehicle upkeep, including cleaning trailers before each pickup.
HGV Class 1 Driver - Person Specification
• UK HGV Class 1 driving license (minimum 6 months)
• Digital tachograph card & CPC card
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an HGV driver
• Ability to provide a professional waste management service to trade customers
• Excellent, professional work ethic
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage
• Experience with walking floors and in the waste industry is preferable but not essential
