Care Assistant - Abergavenny
Location: Abergavenny & surrounding areas
Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible shifts available
Pay Rates: £13.00 - £13.50 per hour

Your Role
As a Care Assistant, you'll be making a real impact every day by supporting people in their own homes. You'll build strong, trusting relationships with clients and help them maintain their independence through a variety of day-to-day support, including:
Personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting
Assisting with mobility, including using walking aids or hoists when required
Preparing nutritious meals and snacks
Running errands, collecting prescriptions, or going shopping
Light housework to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
Offering companionship—whether it's chatting over a cup of tea or supporting hobbies and interests
Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings
Communicating with the office team to ensure consistent, quality care

30p per mile (or 45p when accompanying a client)

Essential Requirements:
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
The legal right to work in the UK
Strong communication skills in spoken and written English
A caring, respectful approach and commitment to person-centred care
Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check
