Employment Coordinator

Your role, as an Employment Coordinator is to provide support to people who have barriers to work to make progress towards and achieve well paid, sustainable employment. This role is based within schools across Glasgow, supporting young people from S3 to S6, to introduce employability skills, identify career goals and secure a positive destination, post school.
Enable Works are the leading specialist provider of employability services for people who have barriers to work. We believe that every person in Scotland has the right to work in a job that is high quality and well paid.
Enable Works supports over 7000 people every year across 30 Local Authorities to learn skills for work.

You should also have:

Understanding of relevant policy and legislation
Ability to profile skills and aspirations of young people
Ability to innovate and plan so young people can achieve goals
Ability to partner and negotiate with stakeholders
Professional presentation and personality
Self-management skills and the ability to meet duties effectively
IT literacy
Proactive and collaborative approach to team work
Commitment to personal and professional development
Experience of achieving success through innovation
Experience of working in a performance-focussed team
Experience of delivering learning
Experience of meeting/exceeding demanding compliance requirements
Experience of working with young people who have multiple and/or complex barriers
