Roles and responsibilities To assist the Registered Nurse/Health Advisers/Doctors in their main daily responsibilities. To work flexibly within 56 Dean Street and Dean Street Express services To assist in the recall of patients with sexually transmitted infections requiring treatment and or partner notification To be part of the text service for patients sending negative results and results requiring action. The role will involve direct patient care, clerical, reception and administration duties and overseeing of the maintenance of a safe environment for both clients and staff The post holder works under the supervision of the Nursing and Health Adviser team. To supervise the ordering and stock levels of medical supplies. To provide training and leadership to the Health Care Assistants and participate in the mentorship/management of the Health Care Assistants. To work within boundaries of existing competence and develop skills at all times. The post holder is expected to maintain high standards of care, managing their time, tasks and resources effectively. To ensure that the environment of the clinic is clean, tidy, safe and welcoming to patients. We have evening clinics and work Saturdays. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly including Sundays if the service expands to a seven days week.
