An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Clinical Lead within Zinnia CMHT

You will be joining us at an exciting time of the planning and implementation of Community transformation.

The role requires working autonomously in providing high quality assessments, reviews, treatment interventions, clinical advise and expertise to the wider MDT in supporting service users with severe and enduring mental illness.

You will be responsible for providing additional leadership and guidance to team members in risk assessment, risk management and positive problem solving and lead on debriefs following incidents.



The Clinical Lead will work across the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) and support the team managers in effective operation of the team by undertaking practice and professional lead responsibility for specified areas of care delivery.

To be responsible for the development and maintenance of effective clinical pathways between CMHT and other services

The take a leadership role to positively influence and improve the quality of clinical practice by providing support, supervision, educational and professional development opportunities for staff within the CMHT.

Develop confidence and competence within the team for managing complex clinical cases and issues

To take a lead role in the provision of clinical leadership and caseload supervision to the team. They will be expected to act as a positive role model in promoting clinical excellence

Applicants should have relevant experience and competence in:
• Robust assessing of a range of mental health issues.
• Risk identification and management
• Positive relationship building across a variety of stakeholder groups
• Expert navigation of a range of support, VCSE, social and clinical services
• Co production at all levels
• Experience in providing supervision to others.
