As a Duty Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring all contractual requirements are met and the NatWest Group service standards are delivered.
In this role, you will lead and manage a team of ISS employees, ensuring they are fully trained, motivated, and capable of preventing security breaches and penetration test failures. You will support operational performance, exceed stakeholder expectations, and maintain a customer-focused, service excellence culture.
The Role
Lead, motivate, and manage security personnel to achieve performance objectives and SLA targets.
Develop and implement manpower and establishment plans to ensure adequate coverage.
Promote a customer-focused culture and Service Excellence approach across the site.
Ensure compliance with BS 7499, local procedures, and contractual requirements.
Conduct briefings, handovers, and patrols to monitor performance, safety, and security standards.
Identify operational trends, implement improvement plans, and drive team development.
Maintain effective relationships with NWG, ISS, and on-site service partners.
Address underperformance and incidents through formal processes, including investigations or disciplinary actions.
About You
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a security team.
Skilled in workforce planning, rostering, and maintaining staff morale.
Effective communication skills to liaise with employees at all levels, including senior leadership.
Conflict resolution and decision-making abilities under high-pressure situations.
Compliance & Security Focus:
Proven experience in security operations within a corporate environment.
Knowledge of access control, CCTV, alarm monitoring, and emergency response protocols.
Ability to develop and enforce security policies, conduct audits, and ensure compliance.
Hold a valid SIA license and first aid certification.
