Clinical Perfusion Specialist
Salary: Agenda for Change Band 8a plus HCA.
Guy's & St Thomas' Cardiovascular Department is one of the largest in the United Kingdom and within the directorate is the Department of Clinical Perfusion based at St Thomas' Hospital.
The Perfusion department at Guy's and St Thomas' performs approximately 1200 adult and paediatric cardiac surgical bypass procedures per year whilst providing Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation support for acute respiratory failure for both adults and paediatrics. Other services supported include Trans Catheter Aortic Valve Surgery, Laser Lead Extractions and Intra Aortic Balloon Pump therapy.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the department to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Perfusion Specialist to join our highly specialised team.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable post qualification perfusion experience, will be working as an autonomous practitioner, and join the team in its ongoing commitment to supporting cardiac surgery, a commissioned adult ECMO service and a paediatric ECMO service.

Participation in the on-call rota is essential.
