This post is based at Link’s Edinburgh office. However, hybrid working is available with this role.
Hours of Work: 35 per week, Monday to Friday
The Role
Make a difference with numbers that matter!
At Link, our Finance team is about more than spreadsheets – it’s about making sure every pound is used where it matters most. As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting services that change lives, from building affordable homes to tackling social isolation.
This role will support LinkLiving – our charity that delivers life-changing services for people affected by trauma, mental health challenges and social isolation.
You will work together with LinkLiving colleagues, building and enhancing working relationships to foster trust and understanding, and support them to increase confidence, independence and brighter futures.
This is a practical, delivery-focused role. You’ll work directly with managers and budget holders to keep reporting accurate, advice accessible, and compliance strong.
You’ll be producing accounts, budgets, forecasts and reports, preparing financial information for Boards, supporting audit; and contributing to funding bids. Along the way, you’ll also help colleagues understand and use financial information with confidence. We’re looking for someone who enjoys the detail, takes pride in accurate reporting, and can communicate clearly with colleagues who aren’t finance specialists.
If you want to apply your expertise in a supportive, values-driven organisation where your work directly benefits communities across Scotland, we’d love to hear from you.
In return you will be offered the opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge through employee training and development. You can expect to work in a supportive, trusting and transparent working environment, with the autonomy to offer creative and innovative solutions whilst maintaining Link’ s values; Responsibility, Empathy, Social Impact, Participate, Equity, Challenge and Transparency.
For further information on the main position accountabilities and a comprehensive list of the essential and desirable criteria required for this post, please refer to the Job Specification in the Job information Pack above.
What’s in it for you?
As an Investor in People, we strive for continuous improvement through the management and growth of our staff, offering a wide range of training and development opportunities.

You will work with colleagues who offer support to ensure our customers' expectations are met. In return, we are looking for applications from people who will contribute to our aims and work to the highest professional standards.
This post is subject to Level 1 Disclosure.
Closing Date: midnight on Monday 13 October 2025
