Allstaff are seeking a Quality Technician to join their brilliant local business,the role is temporary to start with but with a view to becoming permanent.
Hours-Mon-Thu 7am-330pm & Friday 7am-1230pm
Role Profile -
• Physical inspection of sub-assembly and final generator build to set standards and methods.
• Physical inspection of final generator builds and documentation, including concessions, to agreed standards and methods in order to complete a named release of product.
• Inspection results to be recorded in systems/software maintaining an accurate record of the inspection and communication with engineering and operations with respect to faults found.
• Processing of non-conforming material including the review, processing NCR’s using computer systems/software and the communication with internal departments and suppliers with respect to the non-conforming material.
• Rework, where possible, minor defects to correct non-conforming material, achieving Quality standards.
• Maintain calibration certificates for all test and measurement equipment and maintain validation of operation.
• Training of other team members.
• Other tasks deemed necessary by supervision in order to maintain the high-quality standards of products.
