An inclusive and forward-thinking secondary academy in East London is seeking a compassionate and skilled Specialist Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term supply basis, starting immediately.

About the Role:
You'll be providing tailored support to a pupil with significant medical needs, working closely with the wider team to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering stoma care and administering medication
- Responding appropriately to medical situations involving central lines or mic-key buttons
- Promoting health, dignity, and independence within the classroom
Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and confidence in managing medical responsibilities.
What You'll Need:
- A DBS registered on the Update Service
- GCSEs (Grade C or above) in Maths and English
- Proven experience supporting pupils with complex needs, including SLD and PMLD
