The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our client’s London Building Services team and play a pivotal role in classified building projects within the Defence sector, as well as selected commercial and mission critical projects.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
- Lead electrical design across Defence, Mission Critical, and commercial projects
- Collaborate with PMs, Architects, QSs, Structural Engineers, and specialists
- Deliver innovative, sustainable, technically excellent solutions to exacting Defence standards
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Proven track record as an Electrical Design Engineer in building services, ideally within consultancy or a design-focused contractor role.
- Strong experience in delivering projects from concept through to completion.
- Excellent technical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Active Security Clearance or full eligibility to obtain it.
It’s great if you also have the following
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams on secure or classified projects
- A consultancy background, or contractor experience in a design-oriented role
- A strong interest in sustainable, innovative design solutions
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in both office and site-based environments
