Assist Resourcing are looking for Production Operatives in Wigan to work with our client, who are the UK’s leading GRP Roofing Systems Supplier. They develop, manufacture, and supply high-quality GRP products and GRP flat roof systems to the trade.
You will be based in a loud, dusty environment. You will need to do a hearing and breathing assessment every 6 months due to the environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Trimming materials to size
- Working on machinery
- Standing on the end of a production line taking off finished roofing products which can be hot/Sharp items
- Checking for defects
- Product Palletising
- Hygiene duties when line are off
- Other general duties
This role may require other duties, so it would be beneficial if you were flexible and willing to learn new skills. There will be a lot of walking and movement required with this role.
Working Hours:
Our client is offering Monday to Friday working on a fixed shift (08:00 - 16:00)
About you:
If you are a hard-working individual, who relishes a new challenge and has at least 6 months previous experience working in a Production environment, we would love to hear from you.
You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site at Wigan for your shift.
