Neway are looking for a Youth Justice Case Worker to join our client based in Kingston & Richmond
Location: Guildhall Complex
Contract: initially for 3 months (extended after review)
Hours: 36 per week | 09:15–17:15
Rate: £26.00 PAYE / £33.97 Umbrella
Achieving for Children is seeking a dedicated and experienced Youth Justice Case Worker to join their Specialist Adolescent Services team for short-term sickness cover. This vital role sits within the Youth Justice Service (YJS), part of AfC’s Family and Adolescent Directorate, and is focused on supporting children and young people across Kingston and Richmond.
About the Role
You’ll manage a caseload of children, young people, and families with complex needs and risks related to offending behaviour. The YJS takes a “child first, offender second” approach, working collaboratively with families to build resilience and drive positive change.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting children and families within Kingston or Richmond
Managing both Out-of-Court Disposals (OOCD) and court cases
Contributing to multi-agency safeguarding and public protection
Applying trauma-informed, whole-family, and Signs of Safety approaches
✅ Requirements
We’re looking for someone who:
Has direct experience working in a Youth Justice Service
Has held both OOCD and court cases
Is confident using ICT (Google Suite/Microsoft Office)
Demonstrates strong communication, organisation, and multi-agency working skills
Holds a relevant professional qualification
