What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you passionate about helping children ‘be the best they can be?’ Are you enthusiastic about helping child learn through play and hands on experiences? Do you want to work in a happy school that puts children at the heart of all we do?

Then we want to hear from you! We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and hard-working team.

Your role will be to support the learning and needs of different pupils, supporting children with SEND, assisting classes and running small group activities. You will have had some previous experience in working with children and be able to effectively communicate with adults and children alike, encouraging everyone to be the ‘best that they can be’.

St Leonard's CofE Primary School, in Exeter, is proud to be part of St Christopher's Multi Academy Trust. We are a community school that serves around 600 pupils, set in extensive grounds filled with wide open spaces and woodlands that allow our children to engage in the wonder of outdoor learning.
