A rare and exciting opportunity has become available at Barton Moss Secure Care Centre (Ofsted: ‘Good’ provider) for a Data Analyst and Information and Data Quality Lead. The successful post-holder will work closely with the Head of Service, managers and staff across the centre to develop the use of technology, new systems and data to improve service delivery for the children in our care.
This role provides an opportunity to really shape practice and support Barton Moss in becoming an ‘Outstanding’ provider. The successful post-holder would be joining a committed, passionate and experienced group of professionals that have child-friendly practice and quality care at the centre of what they do.

Your role will include:
- Leading on the implementation of the new database and information management system (Child View).
- Supporting the Head of Service in developing and implementing a new data and performance strategy for the centre (including administrative and data systems and processes).
- Managing all aspects of Child View including maintenance, upgrades and development.
- Overseeing the contract with CACI and attending stakeholder meetings to ensure that Child View is meeting service requirements.
- Working with the management team to introduce compliance and performance related meetings to inform service improvement.
- Overseeing data recording procedures ensuring these are regularly updated and embedded into practice.
- Undertaking regular data-cleaning to ensure that recording is in line with agreed recording procedures.
- Devising and delivering in-house Child View training to staff across the centre.
- Producing high-quality reporting and data analysis for the Head of Service and the Governance Board.
- Presenting data and analysis to various forums as required.
- Supporting the Head of Service and management team around Ofsted inspections.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently £49.50. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £12.38 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £49.50.
