Team: Streetscene Grounds Maintenance
Do you want to be part of a service that plays an essential role in your community?
There are currently vacancies within the Grounds Maintenance team.
We are seeking to recruit Gardeners to join our Grounds Maintenance Section. This dynamic service is looking to refresh its team with new faces who can proactively work on the Boroughs greenspace sites.
Ideal candidates will have experience in use of ride-on mowers, pedestrian mowers, appropriate hand tools and PA1 / PA6 accreditation.
Candidates will be required to carry out Gardening duties such as working within a team maintaining greenspace environments such as the Boroughs 15 Green flag parks, the Borough’s infrastructure and Countryside settings and Housing stock green space sites.
You will be required to work from various depots around the Borough working Monday to Thursday 08:00 16:30 and Friday 08:00 13:00.
Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis.
