At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Forklift Operator / TLT Operator to work with Unipart JCB, a leading company known for its expertise in logistics and supply chain management. Unipart JCB provides comprehensive services, including warehousing, distribution, and transportation solutions.
Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00 (+1h committed OT)
- Friday: 07:00 - 12:00
Pay Rates:
- Standard: £13.67 per hour
- Overtime: £20.50 per hour (paid after 39 standard hours)
As an Forklift Operator you will need to have:
- Previous experience operating MHE (Counterbalance/Forklift/Teletruck/Bradshaw)
- Valid accredited FLT licence
- Positive drive and commitment
- Ability to work alone and self motivate
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a very fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills (using radios)
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job as this role requires also manual handling
- This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions
Role of a Forklift Operator:
- Operating FLT to move stock around
- Deliver to line using Bradshaw
- Manual handling
- Operate TLT/bradshaw and other handling equipment depending on the task
- Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors
- Adhere to site procedures and guidelines
