Lyde Green Primary is delighted to offer a number of part-time opportunities for Lunchbreak Supervisors to join our friendly team. Our supervisors play a vital role in creating a safe, happy, and well-organised lunchtime experience for our pupils. Each role involves working 2 hours per day during the lunch period, with the following working patterns available: Monday & Friday Monday, Wednesday & Friday Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday Please indicate your preferred working pattern on your application form.
About the jobWe’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Lunchbreak Supervisor to join our school team and help make lunchtimes a positive part of every child’s day. You’ll work closely with staff and pupils to create a safe, sociable, and fun environment—whether it’s setting up the dining hall, supporting children during meals, or leading play and activities in the playground (or indoors on rainy days). Your presence will bring stability, encouragement, and fun to our lunchtime routine. About you You’ll be someone who brings warmth, energy, and a sense of fun to the role. We’re looking for someone who is: Flexible, calm, and well-organised Able to take initiative and work confidently as part of a team Sensitive to the needs of all children Approachable, with strong communication skills Positive, playful, and ready to brighten up lunchtime If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
