Your new company
You'll be joining a well-established, publicly listed organisation with a strong presence in its sector. The business offers a collaborative and professional working environment, with a small but experienced finance team based on-site.
Your new role
As Company Accountant, you'll report directly to the Financial Controller and play a key role in the preparation of both subsidiary and consolidated management accounts. You'll be responsible for a wide range of financial reporting tasks, including statutory accounts preparation, VAT submissions, fixed asset management, and supporting the annual budgeting process. This is a varied and hands-on role suited to an experienced accountant who enjoys working across multiple areas of finance.
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in Accounting or Finance, and full or part qualification with ICAEW, ACCA, or CIMA
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Experience using SAGE accounting software (advanced level desirable)
- Knowledge of property accounting and lease accounting would be advantageous.
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and strong communication skills, particularly when working with non-financial colleagues
