Social Care & Education is looking for experience support workers who can provide compassionate support to people with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
About the Role
We are seeking caring, proactive Support Workers to join our team in Swadlincote. In this role, you will provide personalised support to individuals in supported accommodation, helping them develop skills, maintain independence, and participate in meaningful activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting individuals with daily routines and following personalised support plans
• Administration of medication in line with care plans
• Providing personal care when needed
• Meal planning and preparation
• Promoting social inclusion and encouraging participation in community activities
• Maintaining accurate records and communicating with families and professionals
Requirements:
• Previous experience in supported living or a similar role
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities or complex needs
• Confident in administering medication and moving & handling techniques
• Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach
