Crynodeb

Joe Browns was founded by Simon Brown in 1998, inspired by a group of friends enjoying a beer in a beach bar called The Ty Coch Inn in Morfa Nefyn, North Wales, at the end of a great day surfing some waves. Fresh out of the sea, salt in their hair, laughing, joking and totally carefree, they were having an absolute blast. That was the essence, right there, of Joe Browns: FUN, SPONTANEOUS and FREE!

Everything we do revolves around making people feel good. We're not trend-setters by any means - that's really not our bag - but what we do create is remarkable garments that never fail to evoke positive compliments. It's the small details and little finishing touches that make our garments stand out from other high street brands.

It's all about helping our customers to feel confident, liberated and totally individual when it's a Joe Browns kind of day!

If you’re someone who embraces who you are, stands up for what you believe in, and blends creativity with commercial savvy, you’ll fit right in.

The Role

We're on the lookout for a meticulous and enthusiastic Fashion Warehouse Quality Controller to join our Quality Control team. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring our garments are up to scratch—meeting the high standards our customers know and love.

From checking the stitching to measuring garments and logging any issues, you’ll be our last line of defence before our clothes reach our customers. You’ll work closely with other departments to keep everything running smoothly—and make sure every parcel leaving the warehouse represents the Joe Browns brand at its very best.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect the quality of garments and accessories upon arrival into the warehouse
- Measure garments accurately in line with fit and spec requirements
- Identify and report faults or inconsistencies using standard QC procedures
- Log findings and discrepancies clearly and consistently
- Repack, rework, or repair items where necessary to meet our quality standards
- Replace damaged or incorrect packaging
- Record product weights as needed
- Collaborate with your Team Leader, Supervisor, and QA Technologists to resolve any issues
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workstation
- Support other departments when required

About You:
- Strong attention to detail—you notice the small things others might miss
- Confident in measuring garments and following detailed guidance
- Effective communicator and team player
- Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines
- Prior experience in fashion, textiles, or warehouse QC is preferred
- Familiarity with plus-size clothing is a bonus

Why Join Us?

At Joe Browns, we’re more than just a fashion retailer – we’re a fun, fast-paced, and creative business with a big personality. We value individuality, positivity, and teamwork, and we want our people to enjoy coming to work every day.

Here’s what you can expect:
- A competitive salary and benefits package
- Staff discount on our remarkable garments
- A friendly, supportive team environment
- Opportunities to grow and develop your career
- Being part of a brand that does things differently
