We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. This position is essential to providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is highly desirable, as it will enhance your ability to meet our high standards of cleanliness and service.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-presented.
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries as needed.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and used efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and a friendly disposition towards guests and colleagues.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or standing for extended periods.
