Time on PICU can be arranged depending on the needs of the individual. This post will have an out of hours banding supplement. Shift patterns are normal and long days, nights as well as some weekend commitments. The shift pattern in currently 1:8 and the out of normal working hours work commitments will be on the general paediatric registrar rota. Daytime work/training will be in paediatric cardiac theatres and other cardiac areas. OBJECTIVES OF THE POST 1.
