Graduate Quantity Surveyor

We have an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based on a major project in North Somerset. The business is well established and typically undertakes projects across the student accommodation, education, commercial and hotels / leisure valuing from £30mil - £150mil+. The project in North Somerset is the first phase of a £600mil commercial development, consisting predominantly of office blocks.

About the role of Graduate Quantity Surveyor:

As Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within the commercial team, procuring and managing several sub-contract packages. You will be shadowing a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities as Graduate Quantity Surveyor:

  • Assist with sub-contract procurement
  • Assist with the management of sub-contractors accounts
  • Assist with pricing variations
  • Assist with final accounts

Key Requirements as Graduate Quantity Surveyor:

  • MUST hold a BSc Quantity Surveying
  • Be an ambitious and driven individual
  • Live within a commutable distance to Bristol
  • Have the full right to work in the UK (this role will not support sponsorship)
