The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking a hardworking Cat B Night Driver for one of our clients based in RH10, a key player in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry.
Our client is looking for a Cat B Night Driver on a temp-to-perm basis to join their tight-knit team. This is a hybrid role with one day of the working week spent in the warehouse picking & packing - ideal for someone looking to build a career in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
The successful candidate will possess a current and valid driver's licence and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Due to the night shifts, your own transport is essential.
Hours of Work:
A rolling shift pattern:
Week 1:
- Sunday to Thursday: 21:00 to 05:30
- Off: Friday & Saturday
Week 2:
- Sunday to Friday
- Sunday: 21:00 - 03:00
- Monday to Friday: 21:00 - 05:00
- Off: Saturday
(Note: This shift pattern begins after completing two weeks on the day shift.)
Pay:
- £15.10 per hour PAYE
Responsibilities of the Cat B Night Driver:
- Deliver automotive glass to various locations across the Southeast.
- Perform full pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
- Follow job directives and assigned delivery schedules.
- Comply with all required safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with warehouse duties (picking and packing).
- Good understanding of numbers and letters for the picking process.
Requirements:
- Full UK Category B Licence
- Previous van driving experience
- Physically fit - this is a heavy lifting role
- A strong interest in developing within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector
