Make a Real Difference as a Team Leader. Lead with Compassion.
Are you an experienced care professional looking to take the next step in your career? Want to work in a Team Leader role where your leadership truly impacts lives every single day?

At St Elizabeth Care Agency, our aim is to provide high-quality, tailor-made services to clients living in their own homes. We support adults (18+) who, for various reasons, are unable to manage certain aspects of daily life or access the community. All profits made by the agency are donated to the Hospice to further its work to improve life for people living with a progressive illness.
We’re proudly rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) — and we’re looking for a new Team Leader to help us continue delivering exceptional community care across Woodbridge, Ipswich, and the surrounding areas.

Why Join Us?
• Be part of a supportive, values-led team
• Work for a CQC ‘Outstanding’-rated care agency
• Earn a competitive salary + paid mileage
• Know your efforts support a local hospice charity

What Our Team Says:

This is what some of our carers have said when we asked them why they like working for St Elizabeth Care Agency:
• “The support and care we put in place for individuals in the community is fantastic.”
• “I really like that the money made by the care agency goes to help fund the hospice.”
• “Very approachable office/managerial staff. Flexible working. Good length of client appointments to get things done. Varied tasks.”
• “To work in a supportive team where I feel valued. Knowing that I contribute to making a positive difference in people’s lives, not only to our clients but also to the individuals and families that receive support from the Hospice.”

Your Role:

As a Team Leader, you will:
• Lead and support a team of Home Carers in the community
• Help with day-to-day operations of the agency
• Deliver direct care and support to clients when needed
• Be part of the on-call support rota
• Work shifts including early mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ Level 3 in Social Care (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a similar role
• A natural leader who inspires others to do their best
• Kind, compassionate, and committed to high-quality care
• Confident IT skills
• A full, clean UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and Class 1 business insurance

What You’ll Get in Return:

• £27,620 per annum + additional on-call payments
• 45p per mile mileage reimbursement
• Full induction & ongoing training and development
• Access to our Employee Assistance Programme
• Eligibility for the Blue Light Discount Card
• Refer-a-friend bonus (£200 after probation)
• Pension scheme
• Work with purpose – all agency profits go directly to support St Elizabeth Hospice

Key Info:
• Immediate interviews available
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK – Visa sponsorship not available
• This post is open to females only due to service user requirements – Exempt under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1
