Murrayfield Primary School is a non-denominational school which provides for nursery children and stages P1-P7, situated in the Blackburn area of West Lothian and is part of the Bathgate Learning Community.
The school works hard to provide an inclusive and nurturing environment for children and their families. The school role is currently 183 pupils split into 8 classes. There are 38 children in the nursery. The school is staffed by a skilled and motivated team consisting of the Head teacher, DHT, PT, teaching and non teaching staff, working together to support and challenge learners across the school and nursery. Our parents are very supportive of the school and through regular opportunities parents engage in the wider life of the school and have provided effective feedback to move our school forward. Our free breakfast club is well attended.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Supervisory Assistant to join our school team to support during the school breakfast club period, Monday to Friday.
This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council
