Job Overview
-Being both the company's and clients key site contact and ensuring the CP teams strive for and exceed the expectations for service excellence to be achieved through proactive management and leadership. Maintaining a clear focus together with the provision of key management information and site.
-Develop and maintain key stakeholder site relationships with the clients
-Ensure the operation runs in accordance with the approved SOP documents as laid down by the client and Mitie.
-Ensure the operational team delivers the service in line with the published KPI standards
-Ensure all statutory training and vetting requirements applicable to the contract are carried out and recorded in line with the contract requirements.
Main Duties
-Main duties
-Ensure the service delivery is completed to the KPI standards and exceptions or risks are notified in advance where possible.
-Attend and participate in key site stakeholder meetings.
-Ensure full compliance with safe working practices and reporting.
-Ensure accurate and timely completion of any and all incident reports.
-Allocation of tasks to Operatives on a daily/weekly basis liaising to ensure we maximise the use of Mitie staff instead of using Contractors by filling the tasks within the time limit set by Parliament
-Maintain accurate records and tracker data for all aspects of the operation.
-Communicate effectively with company external support teams to ensure the one team approach is practiced and promoted.
-Ensure all staff engaged carry the correct level of screening and CTC / SC clearance. All CTC / SC cancelations must be actioned immediately, and staff removed from the contract if they fail to comply.
-Ensure compliance with all Mitie and site Health and safety policies and procedures.
-Ensure all statutory training has been conducted and recorded for CP Officers.
-Manage and ensure compliance with the WP+ payroll and annual leave systems.
-Ensure the full employment cycle of recruitment, onboarding, induction, Job specific training and the notification of leavers are completed and documented in accordance with company procedures.
-Conduct Site Visits to monitor the employee's / contractors to ensure we are delivering a good service whilst maintaining high standards
-Recruitment of Close Protection Officers within my Area of responsibilities
-Coach and develop your team in all aspects of their role.
-Ensure full site staff engagement by holding regular team briefing meetings and toolbox talks.
-Create a positive site culture between the Mitie team and all key stakeholders.
-Maintain an accurate record of all Mitie owned assets.
-Ensure all HR processes are conducted in accordance with Mitie policies and procedures.
-Aspire to be an ambassador for Mitie at all times.
What we are looking for
-Person Specification
-Must hold a SIA Close protection Licence
-Must be able to work from the Shard 3 days a week
-Can demonstrate Knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety Environmental and quality systems and the management of SSOW associated with the contract.
-Able to represent Mitie at key stakeholder meetings
-Able to demonstrate key leadership skills
-Has good commercial and general management skills
-Ability to demonstrate and maintain excellent client facing focus
-Has the ability to work calmly whilst under pressure
