Crynodeb
Assist electricians with the installation of electrical containment systems by performing tasks such as metal munching (cutting, shaping, and preparing metal cable containment systems like trunking, tray, and conduit). This role typically includes working on commercial, industrial, or construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in measuring, cutting, and installing metal containment (e.g., cable tray, ladder rack, trunking, Unistrut).
Use tools such as punches, munchers, grinders, drills, and hacksaws to modify or shape metal.
Support qualified electricians with cable pulling and routing after containment is installed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow instructions from site supervisors or lead electricians.
Help lift and position heavy materials as needed.
Comply with site health and safety regulations.
