The Role
We are seeking a Financial Accounts Manager (ACCA Qualified) to oversee financial operations, manage reporting, and support strategic decision-making. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a strong commercial mindset, and the ability to ensure compliance with UK financial and employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and oversee financial statements, management accounts, and budgets.
Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and compliance with accounting standards.
Ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation across multiple sites.
Manage and mentor accounting staff.
Support statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
Ensure compliance with UK employment laws, health & safety, and company policies.
Assist in the financial planning of new store openings and operational expansions.
Essential Requirements
ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial management or accounting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, KPIs, and operational efficiency.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Eligibility to work in the UK (Right to Work checks will be conducted).
Desirable
Experience in multi-site retail accounting.
Professional qualification in Finance or Business Administration.
Exposure to ERP or financial management systems in retail.
