QS Recruitment are seeking professional and reliable Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our trusted clients in Wakefield.
This role is a day driving position, delivering nationwide to different commercial and domestic properties. You will be completing approximately 2 drops throughout the day. Deliveries consist of bathroom suites and plumbing supplies. Vehicle checks will be expected on wagons before the start of each shift and cautious driving will always be required, keeping yourself and the public safe. Each shift will be approximately 10-11 hours long.
To be successful, you must:
-Hold a valid Class 1 Drivers Licence.
-Have a Digi Tachograph Card.
-Hold a valid CPC Card.
-Have no more than 6 points on your driver’s license.
-Have at least 6 months Class 1 Driving experience.
-Know how to drive safely, ensuring no damage to the vehicles or to the goods being transported.
This is a full-time, ongoing position with the chance to gain a permanent contract if well-suited.
Your shift will start between 05:00 and 08:00, depending on the route for that week, Monday to Friday
This Class 1 Driving position is £17.50, + 28 days holiday PAYE.
