What skills and experience we're looking for
An exciting opportunity has arisen at St Wilfrid’s to join our team as HR Officer. This is a brand new post to the school, offering the opportunity to shape its direction and make a meaningful impact from day one.
This pivotal role will oversee the entire employee journey and payroll coordination.
We’re seeking someone with strong administrative skills, a solid grasp of HR procedures, and a meticulous eye for detail - especially when it comes to safeguarding and compliance, including maintaining our Single Central Record.
Communication is at the heart of this role. The post holder will be the go-to person for staff across all levels, offering first-line HR advice while also drawing on the expertise and support of colleagues in the Trust central team.

St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School & Sixth-Form College is a mixed voluntary Academy for 11-18 year olds, based in North Featherstone in West Yorkshire. There are currently 1,538 students in attendance. The school opened in 1963 and has a proud history. We were judged as Good by Ofsted in November 2021; we were also inspected by the Catholic Inspection Service (Sec 48) in April 2024, with 7 out of 9 areas graded Outstanding.
We are proudly part of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust which comprises of three Secondary Schools and twelve Primary Schools. We are a Catholic School that extols the teachings of Jesus Christ and the values of servant leadership in everything we do.
