Ready to make a real difference? We're looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a leading specialist school for young people with special educational needs. If you have experience supporting students with diverse needs and want to be part of a rewarding environment, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a permanent, full-time position located in a beautiful rural setting near Cranleigh. Due to the location, your own transport is essential.

About the School

Our client is a highly-regarded specialist school focused on providing high-quality education and a supportive environment where every student is valued. They champion a collaborative culture where you'll be empowered to help young people reach their full potential.

The Role: What You'll Do

  • Providing one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs.

  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of lessons, helping to make learning accessible and fun.

  • Monitoring student progress and providing valuable feedback.

  • Building strong, positive relationships with students and their families.

  • Contributing to a compassionate and inclusive classroom culture that celebrates every student's success.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be empathetic, patient, and truly passionate about making a difference. You should also have:

  • Proven experience supporting young people with special educational needs (SEN).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • A strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.

  • A valid driving license and your own vehicle (this is a must-have due to the location).

  • A commitment to inclusive education and a positive attitude.

An Enhanced DBS check will be processed upon a successful offer. We are unable to accept applications from overseas candidates or those without their own transport.

Does this sound like the perfect role for you? Apply now to join a school that truly values its staff and the incredible work you do.

Please apply now or call Paul Hirchfield on 01293 527416 for more information. paul.hirchfield@randstadeducation.co.uk
