Teaching Assistant at a Specialist SEN School
Ready to make a real difference? We're looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a leading specialist school for young people with special educational needs. If you have experience supporting students with diverse needs and want to be part of a rewarding environment, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a permanent, full-time position located in a beautiful rural setting near Cranleigh. Due to the location, your own transport is essential.

The Role: What You'll DoAs a Teaching Assistant, you'll be a key member of the team, working closely with teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Your main responsibilities will include:

Providing one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs.

Assisting in the planning and delivery of lessons, helping to make learning accessible and fun.

Monitoring student progress and providing valuable feedback.

Building strong, positive relationships with students and their families.

Contributing to a compassionate and inclusive classroom culture that celebrates every student's success.
The ideal candidate will be empathetic, patient, and truly passionate about making a difference. You should also have:

Proven experience supporting young people with special educational needs (SEN).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

A strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.

A valid driving license and your own vehicle (this is a must-have due to the location).

A commitment to inclusive education and a positive attitude.
