Crynodeb
The post-holders duties will be split between the Horton General, Banbury and the John Radcliffe Hospital,Oxford.ClinicalOxford University Hospitals NHS Trust provides services across four sites (John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford,Horton Hospital Banbury, Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital and the Churchill Hospital, Oxford). Obstetric inpatientand outpatient services are based at the John Radcliffe Hospital. In addition, outpatient obstetric clinics areundertaken at the Horton Hospital in Banbury. The successful applicant may be required to work across bothsites. The post holder will be expected to undertake high risk antenatal clinics at the Horton Hospital.The post-holder will be expected to undertake sessions providing acute general intrapartum care and obstetriccare supported by at least 2 other obstetricians in training as part of this post.The post holder will undertake obstetric on-call duties of no more frequent than 1:9, currently 1:16 with internalcover (equivalent to 1:12.8 in the worked year). The out of hours on call attracts a supplement paid at Band A.
