Your new role
We're looking for a skilled communicator to lead media relations and stakeholder engagement for our client in Sheffield. You'll manage press enquiries, build relationships with journalists, and oversee our stakeholder management tool to support insight-led communications. You'll also play a key role in planning and delivering events.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead proactive and reactive media activity, including press office management
- Build and manage relationships with journalists and stakeholders
- Oversee stakeholder CRM tool and support internal adoption
- Coordinate attendance at sector events
- Monitor media coverage and communications impact
- Contribute to website content and champion inclusive, audience-first messaging
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in media relations and communications campaigns
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities
- Confident using media monitoring and CRM tools
- Event planning experience
- Organised, creative, and audience-focused
