Your new company
My client is a FTSE250 organisation operating globally and continuously growing. This fast-moving business is a leader in providing a range of office telecommunications services to a portfolio of clients. A new role is available on a 12-month FTC basis which has the option to go permanent. You will be the Corporate Tax Compliance and Reporting lead.
Your new role
You will:
- Report directly to the Head of Tax
- Preparation of all UK companies tax computations and returns using Alphatax
- Supporting the tax provision process for half year and year end reporting which is under IFRS, including liaising with external auditors
- Supporting the process for quarterly tax payments
- Supporting the quarterly VAT submissions
- Partnering with local finance teams across UK and Europe, ensuring accurate tax accounting entries for group reporting and local entities, including corporation tax, transfer pricing, VAT, R&D tax credits, patent box and other ad hoc matters as required.
- Providing support to UK and European finance teams on tax compliance matters.
- Supporting tax governance frameworks including SAO and CCO
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant or tax professional, CTA, ACA, ACCA or ATT; you may be part qualified or qualified by experience. You will be fully proficient in completing and submitting corporate tax returns in either an in-house or Practice setting. Previous experience of Alphatax is beneficial. The ability to create relationships internally and work closely with finance teams is essential.
