We are working with a welcoming two-form entry primary with a strong sense of community, respect, and ambition, who are currently looking for a KS2 teacher to join their team from January for a long-term placement. This school is based within Coventry.
Your new role
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across KS2, tailored to curriculum requirements
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports pupil development
- Follow existing schemes of work while bringing your own style and adaptability
- Work collaboratively with staff to ensure smooth transitions during cover periods
- Confidently manage classroom behaviour and encourage respectful interactions
- Quickly settle into new school settings, embracing their ethos and routines
What you'll need to succeed
- QTS and experience teaching within KS2
- Strong behaviour management and a flexible, can-do attitude
- Great communication skills to build quick rapport with pupils and staff
- Confidence in adapting to a new school, embracing their values
- Availability for long-term roles starting in January
