Machine Operator – Pontypool
£12.21 per hour | Free Lunch | Immediate Start Available
Nu Staff are recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturer based in Pontypool. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is reliable, detail-focused, and looking for a stable role within a supportive production environment.
You’ll be responsible for operating machinery, carrying out production tasks to specification, and ensuring that quality and safety standards are maintained at all times.
Hours of Work:
• Monday to Thursday: 7:00AM – 4:00PM
• Friday: 7:00AM – 11:45AM
(Early finish Friday!)
Pay Rate:
• £12.21 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate machinery in line with production requirements
• Monitor equipment and carry out basic checks to ensure smooth running
• Inspect products to maintain quality standards
• Handle materials safely, including loading and unloading where required
• Keep work areas clean, tidy, and compliant with Health & Safety procedures
• Support other production duties as needed
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience (preferred but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks
• Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
Location:
Pontypool – must be able to commute reliably
