We are looking for Financial Analyst with the ability to assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial forecasts and ad hoc financial analysis. They will deliver excellent financial management service to departments. Ensuring financial data is accurate, up-to-date and processed according to University’s financial policies and procedures.
The Opportunity:
In this role, you will be supporting key areas of our business by:
Preparing journals and managing reconciliations
Assisting with the transition to the new People and Money finance system
Checking and reconciling financial data to ensure it is accurate and processed according to University policy and procedures
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, as well as forecast and workforce modelling.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Higher, SVQ3 or equivalent level qualification, or standard grades with previous relevant experience discipline
Computer literate, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Customer-focused approach and keen to provide excellent service.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
